Proper Subset

☼ Proper Subset : If A $\subseteq$ B and A $\neq$ B, then A is called a proper subset of B and we write, A $\subset$ B.

e.g. (i) {a} $\subset$ {a, b, c }, then {a} is called proper subset of {a, b, c }.

(ii) {a, b, c} $\subset$ {a, b, c}, then {a, b, c} is an improper subset of {a, b, c }.
