☼ Symmetric  Expressions of  the Roots :–   The expressions in which if  we interchange    and ,  the value of  the expression remains same. They are called symmetric expressions of  the roots     and of  the quadratic equation.

e.g. ² +  ²,  ²  +    + ²,  ²  –   + ² ,  ³  + ³
