☼ Some Important Properties  :–

 ▪ Generally the quadrilateral is denoted by      .

e.g.  Quadrilateral  ABCD  is  symbolically written as       ABCD.

 ▪ Generally the parallelogram is denoted by     ^m.

e.g.  Parallelogram  ABCD  is  symbolically written as       ^m ABCD.

 ▪ In the kite, diagonals are perpendicular to each other and longer diagonal bisects the shorter one .

▪ Isosceles Trapezium  :  The non–paralle lines are equal in length. ( i.e. congruent )

▪ Cyclic Quadrilateral  :  A quadrilateral is called a cyclic quadrilateral if  all the four of  its verities lie on a circle.

The sum of  either pair of  opposite angles of  a cyclic quadrilateral is  180⁰.

In the cyclic      ABCD,

mA  +  mC  =  180⁰

mB  +  mD  =  180
