☼ Condition for the General Quadratic Equation represents a circle :–

 

☼ x2 + y2 + 2gx + 2fy + c = 0 represents a circle if  g2 + f2 – c > 0. Then its centre  =  ( – g, – f ) and its radius  = \sqrt{g^2+f^2-c}
