☼ Mostly there are three types of sentences :–
- A) Sentences with a helping and a main verb.
e.g. (i) Rekha is writing a letter, isn’t she ?
(ii) He has solved problems hasn’t he ?
(iii) They did not catch the train, did they ?
- B) Sentences with only one main verb.
e.g. (i) Ronak works hard to get good result, doesn’t he ?
(ii) I prepared a new plan, didn’t I ?
(iii) I shall not solve the sum, shan’t I ?
- C) Order, Request and Let sentences.
e.g. (i) Let’s go to the movie, shall we ?
(ii) Get out from the class, will you ?
(iii) Tell him immediately, will you ?
(iv) Please go there, will you ?
(v) Please give me a glass of water, will you ?
