☼ No sooner : –
(1) If the sentence begins with “No sooner” then the conjunction which is to be put in the blank will be ‘than’.
(2) If the blank is given after “No sooner” then put the verb according to tenses.
e.g. did ⟶ past tense
Do / does ⟶ present tense
↦ Examples :–
(1) No sooner did the bell ring, than the students rushed out of the class.
(2) No sooner did the thief see the policeman, than he ran away.
(3) No sooner does the father come, than she runs to receive him.
