☼ INTRODUCTION : We know that the person who appreciate the time, the time will appreciate him. We have mainly two hands in a watch or clock. ( Actually we have three hands, but we ignore the seconds hand because it is irrelevant for our discussions.)
The minute hand is the longer hand and the hour hand is the small hand.
For the Minute Hand

Hence, the minute hand covers 60 in 1 minute and in 1 minute. We have following different types of images of clock in our mind, since childhood.
The four figures given above show the particular timings we always watched and thought about since our childhood. Figure 1 shows the time 7 : 00 where the minute hand is exactly 150 degrees apart from the hour hand. Figure 2 shows the time 12 : 00 where the minute hand and hour hand coincide. Figure 3 shows the minute hand to be perpendicular to the hour hand. This happens exactly twice in an hour. Figure 4 shows the hand to be at an angle of 180 degrees with the hour hand. This happens exactly once in an hour.
