‘Make’, ‘Get’ and ‘Have’ are causal verbs.
Note : – In the sentences they are used according to the tense of the sentence.
☼ Make : – When we force someone to do something causal verb ‘Make’ is used.
Construction of sentence for active :
Make + object + bare infinitive
For passive
Make + verb form with ‘to’
↦ Examples :–
(1) I will make him work hard (A)
(2) She was made to recite a prayer (P)
↦ Exercise :–
(1) Can you ……… the lion ………. grass. (make + eat)
(2) It was true that she ……….. ……….. a song. (make + sing)
(3) Even if it was late, the master ……. him ……… the work.
(make + continue)
(4) Dinesh did not finish his home work, So he ………. ……… it in the class. (make + write)
